Arsenal

Better than Vieira: Arsenal linked to their last chance of signing top quality for the engine room this summer

Carvalho: Baby Faced Beast!

Wonderful Talent

It must be a nightmare watching a movie with Arsene Wenger. It would probably take him hours to make his mind up about which one to watch.

That’s if his apparent indecisiveness in the football transfer market is anything to go by. Because Wenger clearly needs another top anchor man – Francis Coquelin is a great player for the squad but, in an ideal world, he would have another top defensive midfielder to call on as well.

Geoffrey Kondogbia would have been a superb choice because he plays in defence and midfield equally well. But he’s gone to Inter.

Arsenal had ages to sign Morgan Schneiderlin but he now appears set for a move to Manchester United.

We wouldn’t be at all surprised if Arsene doesn’t buy anyone else for the engine room this summer. But, unless he does, we can’t see Arsenal progressing.

There is one more obvious choice out there and he may turn out to be the best of the lot.

William Carvalho is big and powerful but also has wonderful elegance about his game – in this way he reminds us of the old master Patrick Vieira – Carvalho is possibly an even better passer of the ball.

The London Evening Standard reckons that Arsenal fancy the lad. They say:

Arsenal are one of several clubs keen on Sporting Lisbon and Portugal international William Carvalho, who has made a huge impression at the European Under-21 Championships

Carvalho: Baby Faced Beast!

Old Arsene seems to get a nose bleed every time he gets near to signing an anchor man for big bucks. And while we applaud his general dislike of paying over the odds, Carvalho can generate more money than he costs. Because, with a player like this, Arsenal will be an altogether more complete team and win trophies on a reg.

Let’s see the lad in action. Arsenal fans: Do you need Carvalho or will Coquelin do?

    Better than Vieira???
Carvalho is a lump, slower than Mertesacker, and about as effective as a blind Flamini.
He is not worth even £8m, one of the most overrated sack of potatoes in football.
Wouldn’t last a season in the prem. Avoid!

Wtf is this tosh tossing carvalho’s ass into fire? Just a douchebag juvenile and a loser who literally knows nothing about soccer. Not even a good fit to clean the sack of potatoes shoes. Sick of these kinda bloggers berating top class players. Oh i forgot, no one in ur family(generations) can kick a ball. Golf players

I kind of agree with Tosh. He has a good frame and good skill for his size but in my opinion way too slow for the premier league. He looks good at the U21s but let be real it’s U21 and we need a top player. He was unnoticed at the Actual World Cup. He may be a pretty good player in 4-5 years but no where near able to step on for Arsenal if Conq gets injured. People r calling him the next Yaya or Viera. Don’t think so. Too slow and thinks too slow. He plays in Portugal where you have more time to get your head up and play, he won’t have that time in EPL. And please don’t come back at me with no one in my family can kick a ball, everyone in my family can and has at a high level. This why we know the difference between a highlight reel and games with real competition.
