Wonerful player

Real Madrid have really put a cat amongst the pigeons by confirming their interest in the signature of Paul Pogba from Juventus.

With Barcelona amongst those said to be interested in signing the lad, but unable to do so until their transfer ban is lifted, you would have to imagine that Los Blancos will be heavy favourites to bring him to Spain this summer.

Yesterday Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri yesterday declaring:

‘A Pogba transfer? Obviously it would be a decision made by the club and not by the technical team,’

‘But if Paul remains in Turin, he should do it with the right mentality and without having any regrets.

‘When you talk about certain figures, it’s difficult to say no.’

Pogba: Absolute titan

And now Real Madrid man Zinedine Zidane has basically admitted that there will be interest from The Bernabeu:

“Many clubs are interested in him and among these is Real Madrid.

“I think Pogba is a fantastic player. What I like most is that it can do everything. He is a complete player, who can also score, who is not afraid to go forwards. In terms of quality, he is extraordinary.”

Quite where he would play is open to debate but there will always be hot competition for places at Real Madrid and the signing of Pogba would give them a wonderfully penetrative addition to the team – a player who loves to run at the heart of defences and commit opponents. He also scores sensational goals and knows how to. So we would have to agree with Zidane’s suggestion that he is a complete player.

Let’s take a look at the rude boy in action. Real Madrid fans: the perfect summer addition or would you rather add a striker as a priority?
