Move Confirmed: Representative says that Manchester United target will complete a transfer to The Premier League

Special

Tasty. After a short pause for breath at the end of the season it seems that the transfer market is starting to get moving. Of course the window doesn’t officially open until July 1st but deals are being done and hands shaken left, right and centre already.

And United fans will be particularly interested by the latest sound bites to come out of the camp of one of Manchester United’s big reported targets over the last week or so.

Many sports news outlets are going with this story, including The Daily Star, who quotes the agent of Roberto Firmino as saying:

“All I can say is that he will move to England,” Roger Wittmann said.

The 23 year old attacking midfielder already has a great grasp of European football in The Bundesliga, where he has played 153 games for Hoffenheim, since he signed for them in 2010, and scored an excellent 49 goals.

He’s also been on fire for Brazil since his debut in 2014, scoring 3 in 6 for the most successful national team in history.

He looks like an absolute gem of a player and Manchester United could certainly use more goals from midfield. One potential drawback of this move would be that it may be tantamount to an admission that Manchester United won’t be signing Paul Pogba this summer. Because, with several other areas of the team needing serious investment, just the solitary creative midfield addition is perhaps most realistic.

But this looks like a really good deal for United if they can make it happen.

Let’s see the lad in action. Manchester United fans: a good enough addition or should the club be signing tried and tested international stars?

Hey lvg…what are u waiting for? And you Woodward what is your problem… You have pound 125M in your pocket why not spending quickly…

    Let me teach you!!!!
Sign shnederli and Gundogan and play them in holding Midfid
Then sign Otamend to partner Jones or Rojo,,, Don’t sign right back, instead use Smalling or Jones when one of them partner Otamendi, sign firmino for no 10 role… Play Rooney as a lone striker…
Our formation after signing Firmino should be 4-2-3-1
    SHAW+OYAMENDI+JONES+SMALLING
    GUNDOGAN/HERRERA+SHNEDERLIN/CARRICK
    DEPAY+FIRMINO+ DI MARIA
    ROONEYROONEY

THEN THE PLASTIC IS OUR NEXT SESON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LVG
