Manchester United star unsure over future

The future of Manchester United’s on loan star Javier Hernandez is the subject of much debate. He has been released by Real Madrid, who haven’t taken up the option to sign the player permanently – Chicharito scored 7 goals in 23 games for the Spanish giant but it seemingly wasn’t enough to earn him a permanent deal.

And many assumed that Hernandez simply wasn’t fancied at Manchester United by new manager Louis van Gaal. The player himself seems completely uncertain about what the future holds, but is is calm. Marca quotes him as saying:

“Of course it’s on my mind because it’s my future”, ‘Chicharito’ said in an interview with Reuters during his visit to the Formula One circuit in Canada.

“I don’t know where I’m going to play. It could be for one of those two clubs (United or Real) or for another. Ancelotti was my manager, but Rafa Benítez isn’t and he doesn’t need to speak to me because I was on loan from United”, he added.

“I’m pretty relaxed because, luckily, my last few months at Real Madrid went really well and I made my mark. That gave me a lot of confidence and security for the future. I think Rafa knows about me. He’s a really good manager and I think he will do a great job at Real Madrid”, he concluded.

Depending on who Manchester United sign in the summer we wouldn’t completely rule out a return to Old Trafford for the lad next season. While Wayne Rooney would be expected to start in the number 9 position Hernandez would be an excellent back up for the main man and has always been an really potent player coming off the bench. His pace and movement can seriously unsettle defences with tired legs in the last quarter of games.

Hernandez scored 54 goals in 154 games for Manchester United but couldn’t quite replicate the success of his first season at the club where he was seen as the first choice number 9.

Let’s have a look at the lad in action at Real Madrid. Manchester United fans is there room in the squad for a player who seems to score goals wherever he plays?
