Last summer Tottenham were heavily linked with a move for the flying Ukranian winger Yehven Konoplyankla. And with the next transfer window upon us another reported Ukranian target has admitted that he wants to make the move to The Premier League. According to The Daily Mail, Andriy Yarmolenko has been interesting Tottenham for some time and now could be the perfect moment to swoop with the star suggesting that he has been promised a move away from Dynamo Kiev this summer.
The Daily Mail reports:
Andriy Yarmolenko has opened the door for a move to The Barclays Premier League by admitting that ‘now is the perfect time to change clubs’
And that will boost the hopes of Liverpool and Spurs, who have had their eyes on the £20million Ukraine star, as well as suitors from across Europe
And the player is very insistent that he is leaving the club, if his quotes are to be believed:
‘I think that right now is the perfect time to change clubs,’ the 25-year-old said. ‘I promised that until we become champions, I was not going anywhere. I kept my promise, we became champions.
‘The president knows that I want to leave, I have repeatedly spoken about this.’
He is also apparently of interest to PSG in France but is said to prefer a move to The Premier League.
Yarmolenko, an adaptable forward, has played 48 times for Ukraine and scored a notable 19 times. He’s also scored 91 times in 246 games during a career which has been predominantly played in the colours of Dynamo Kiev.
