Manchester United had their end of season bash straight after the bore draw at Hull. But, while some were having fun, others looked less like they were enjoying the event.
One man who looked decidedly listless was Robin van Persie. Pictured here at the bash, RvP looks far from happy and this could offer an insight into his current mind state:

Van Persie has had a relatively poor season. So much was expected of his partnership with Louis van Gaal after RvP had an explosive World Cup with Holland. But, through bad luck with injury and a lack of form, he simply hasn’t been the devastating striker that most were expecting him to be again this season.
His stock has fallen to the point that, at 32 in August, it’s more likely that he will be playing elsewhere by August.
But, Manchester United would have to sign replacements up top before allowing the Dutchman to leave so perhaps there is hope for him yet. But, unless his form improves drastically in pre-season, and LvG changes formation to accommodate him and Wayne Rooney, we just can;t see him getting many starts in the next campaign, barring injury to others.
