Man U

Really? Is Louis van Gaal about to bring Anderson to Manchester United?

The Theatre Of Dreams

Sublime talent

Most Manchester United fans adore The Dutchman but their faith would be severely tested if the boss wanted to bring United’s hapless Brazilian back to the club.

Mercifully it’s another Anderson that Manchester United are currently being linked with – and he looks like an absolute sensation.

While the obvious contenders for a role as United’s driving force in midfield – players like Strootman and Pogba – would cost an absolute fortune, Manchester United might be able to get Lazio midfielder Felipe Anderson for a comparative bargain.

With other clubs reportedly sniffing around Manchester United would need to move decisively. But we have to say that this guy looks like the dream ticket – the sort of player who could become a household name around the world within a year or so.

Future Perfect? Felipe Anderson looks sublime

Future Perfect? Felipe Anderson looks sublime

Just 21 years of age he already looks head and shoulders above anyone else in the Lazio midfield. He’s got superb pace – as seen in the below video – box to box athleticism, an eye for goal (he’s scored a remarkable 9 goals in just 35 league games for Lazio) and the sort of creativity which Manchester United have sometimes lacked since the legendary Ginger Prince hung up his boots.

We really fancy this Brazilian for the Manchester United midfield and various reports have asserted that Manchester United scouted the lad this week.

Let’s take a look at him in action. Manchester United fans: would he slot well into the team or would you rather the club brought in more experienced class?

First–at some point you really do need to stop with the sarcastic comments regarding Anderson. The lad made his name as a forward only to be forced by Man U to play in a MF / defensive MF role. WTF????

Second—Strootman’s injury places a major question mark next to his name

Third–if Man U were to buy Pogba, I think most right thinking Man U fans would lose their minds. Fergie had it right to let the prick leave rather than be dictated to by a teenager. The boy can play but seriously, he is not World Class. Just isn’t—mark my words….He isn’t!!
