Manchester United star is one of the ‘most naturally gifted’ players in the world according to South American striker

Sergio Aguero has come to the defence of the hapless Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao by suggesting that he is still one of the most dangerous players in the United squad.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Aguero says that Falcao remains one of the best players in the world.

“He isn’t having an easy time this season, but I really admire his commitment and his class and qualities are permanent,”

“He is probably one of the most naturally gifted strikers in football at the moment.”

While we think that, on form, Wayne Rooney is the best man for the job at number 9 for Manchester United, we totally agree that Falcao has the football instincts of a true great. In an ideal world Louis van Gaal would have found a place for Falcao up top with Rooney in the hole in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

But having struggled to find the right combination all season the Dutchman has finally come up with an effective way of using his squad and it seems outlandish to suggest that he will change his winning formula now.

Sadly, this means that Falcao will probably leave the club at the end of the season and Manchester United fans will be left to consider what might have been had Falcao found his feet in the first team.

Manchester United fans: is there still time for Radamel?
