Manchester United have been linked with many high profile names for the summer shopping list. But one cut price addition could prove to be Danny Ings of Burnley.
The striker is out of contract in the summer and reports over the weekend suggest that Ings may favour a move to Manchester United over their arch-rvials Liverpool.
The Star reports:
Danny Ings to SNUB Liverpool in favour of move to Man United
Ings has been a rare success story as a player who has made his way up through the leagues almost seamlessly. After playing for Bournemouth and Dorchester Town, Ings moved to Burnley in 2011 and has been an integral part of their return to The Premier League. Burt he hasn’t just made up the numbers in the top flight. With 9 league goals in 25 games, and some mercurial performances in attack, his list of suitors has seemingly grown by the week and there will be no shortage of clubs after him in the summer.
If reports are to be believed Manchester United may have joined the queue and it’s difficult to argue that Ings wouldn’t offer good value compared to the £43m that United would have to shell out for Radamel Falcao.
Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Manchester United fans: can Ings be a worthy team member for Manchester United or should they be looking for more proven international class?
