Worth the cash

Manchester United have been strongly linked with a move for ‘mini-Aguero’ Paulo Dybala this summer and the president of his club, Palermo, says that a bid of £30m has now been lodged for the player.

The Express quotes Maurizio Zamparini as saying:

“Has Dybala already been picked up by Juve? Absolutely not,” Zamparini told Radio Due.

“I already have a €40m offer in my hand, but if someone else gets into the race then we’ll see what happens.

“Were Manchester United behind this offer? I won’t tell you the name of the club, not even if you torture me!”

Dybala is a wonderful striker. He would be the perfect remedy to a Manchester United forward line which seems to have lost its dynamism over the last couple of years, despite the expensive addition of Radamel Falcao. There is a feeling that the attack needs more speed of thought and movement.

In his fledgling career he has scored 37 in 122 games – a ratio of about 1 in 3 which isn’t bad for a 21 year old player being asked to lead the line in Italy. These stats include a very impressive 12 in 24 for this season.

Dibble very much reminds us of Sergio Aguero, who seems to see things and react more quickly than those around him. If Dybala can have a similar impact on The Premier League then Manchester United can only head in one direction.

Let’s see the lad in action. Manchester United fans: would he be a vital part in the rejuvenation of the club?
