Manchester United midfielder Nick Powell could be handed a chance to revive his career by Hull’s Steve Bruce.
Boss Bruce is planning to land the troubled 20-year-old for the rest of the season as his Tigers – in the bottom three with 16 games to play – bid to beat the drop.
Whatever you say about Louis van Gaal, he has made good decisions in the market. Danny Welbeck has been given the role and game time that he wants at Arsenal but has only scored 4 in 16 league games for the club this season. Accordingly, Powell looks as if he has talent but perhaps lacks the speed of thought or feet to really make an impression on games at the very top level. At 20 years of age he has to kick on and only some game time can help him now.
