Real Madrid

Real Madrid: Surely now a done deal?

After losing 100% of their games in 2015 – albeit with only two played – Real Madrid fans will need something to cheer them up.

Because, after an unbelievable win streak which so nearly broke all records, Real Madrid have now limped through back to back defeats.

But things will surely improve and Real Madrid fans can at least take heart from the news that the little genius, Martin Odegaard, trained with the squad on Thursday. Marca reports:

Martin Odegaard trained with Real Madrid this Thursday.

The Norwegian, just 16 years old, was involved in a session that saw Carlo Ancelotti rest the players that started against Atlético, as he worked with those that were on the subs bench and various players from the youth ranks.

After watching Real Madrid vs Valencia on Wednesday night it seemed likely that the player had made his decision about a transfer to Spain. And the fact that he has now trained with Real Madrid leads us to believe that a deal is now all but done.

Odegaard has trained with a few clubs around Europe over the last couple of months as he takes his pick of the top teams lining up for his signature.

But, even though he could have moved to a team with less fierce competition for places, it does now seem inevitable that Real Madrid will get their man.

We just can’t wait to see him pull on the white shirt.

Real Madrid fans: has Odegaard got any chance at all of getting game time in the first team this season?
