‘We’re happy and very grateful’ says superstar in reassuring message to Manchester United fans

Falcao hasn't done enough this season

Class Act

Ever since Radamel Falcao joined Manchester United speculation has been rife about his long-term future and general happiness at the club.

A loan deal is always going to cause some uncertainty and the regular and niggling injuries that we have seen with Falcao so far haven’t helped his cause.

Recent speculation has suggested that Juventus might be interested in taking the player in the summer if he fails to settle at Manchester United.

But over the last few weeks we have seen him get some serious gametime at last and he’s finally finding his rhythm. He is of course way off the form which made him one of the best strikers in the world but Manchester United fans hope that will come back with time.

And, in a reassuring statements to the fans, Falcao has reasserted how happy he is at the club. He told MUTV:

“My family are comfortable. We’re enjoying life in Manchester and here at the club. The people have been great with me, with my family. We’re happy and very grateful.”

“First of all, I’d say thank you so much for the way the fans have treated me. Then I’d want to wish them a happy 2015 and I hope that we can bring them some happiness.”

We at soccersweep can’t say with any real confidence what will happen with Falcao. If he does get back to his best then Manchester United will be biting the hand off the selling party in order to secure his services for the next four years. But he will cost an awful lot of money to bring to the club permanently and Louis van Gaal et al will want to be convinced of his fitness before striking a deal. Because for the sort of money being spoken about in relation to a permanent deal Manchester United could go on by a catalogue younger and fitter players.

But the boss knows what a special talent he has got and he’ll be doing all he can top make the deal work long term.
