If, and it really is a big if, Lionel Messi does move to Chelsea there will be a lot of sour grapes from supporters of other big clubs in the league.

Despite the talent and wealth at clubs like Manchester City and Manchester United, a signing like this could signal five years of dominance for Chelsea.

Chelsea are already looking pretty hot right now but such is the competition in The Premier League that they can never feel comfortable or completely dominant.

But bringing Lionel Messi to the club could change all that. Because it’s difficult to imagine any team with Eden Hazard, Lionel Messi and Diego Costa being beaten to the English title.

Messi and Hazard can float about the pitch in liberal fashion, swapping flanks and regularly cutting inside. There is absolutely no doubt in our minds that these two could play brilliantly in tandem.

The position of Costa is far more fixed. He is unlikely to be able to swap positions in the same way as the other two but he would be able to feed off the superb service that they could provide. If his goals to games ratio is impressive now it will only improve with Messi on the side.

Cesc Fabregas would would of course retain his place in the side providing ammo for all three and reigniting his excellent partnership with Messi which began at Barcelona.

Chelsea would really have to push the boat out to sign a player this expensive. But he would be worth every single penny and Chelsea fans would be positively frothing at the mouths with happiness. And who could blame them? We would absolutely love to see Messi in The Premier League.

Let’s have a look at how Chelsea would line up with Messi in there. It’s bad news for Willian.

Willian before Oscar and more important……
Terry is too slow for a team who pretend Champions League and Premiership. Mourinho’s mistake to sell David Luis.

yes an attacking unit of Messi, Hazard, Costa, Fabregas with back=up of Remy and Drogba is very very awesome, would then have to sell off average players like Willian, Mikel, Oscar, Schurrle, Salah and also bring in a couple of better defenders
