Crystal Ball: Manchester United’s Best Performer of 2015

Falcao hasn't done enough this season

Frightening

You might think it highly risky to project that this guy is going to be the best player for Manchester United over the next twelve months.

Players like Angel di Maria have the world at their feet. And Wayne Rooney will always be there or thereabouts in terms of top performers. Indeed Radamel Falcao may not even be at Manchester United in 12 months time as his loan deal might not be made permanent.

Of course he’s rusty at the moment and still needs to find more match fitness. But the portents are already there. While others continue to impress, there is something almost otherworldly about Falcao and the way that he plays football. He was born to do it and he appears like a force of nature when in full flight.

At 28 years of age you feel that this is a make or break season for him. He has been a prolific scorer where ever he is played but has been unlucky in terms of Champions League qualification and has never quite the had team around him to receive the accolades that his individual brilliance deserves.

But, game by game his touch improves, his sharpness returns and his instinct sharpens. Goal scorers usually take the top plaudits in the game and Falcao has limitless potential at Old Trafford. With Rooney looking so superb in attacking midfield and RvP past his best, surely Falcao is the man to carry the baton and score the goals for the next Manchester United vintage. If he says fit, we have little doubt that he will be Manchester United’s player of 2015.

Let’s see his best bits for the club. United fans: who do you think will be the main man in 2015?
