After three away draws in a row you have to start thinking of this as a Manchester United weakness rather than simple coincidence.
But nothing less than a victory against Yeovil will do for Manchester United in The Fa Cup this weekend (Kick off Sunday 4th January 15:30 local time).
Still, after a gruelling festive period, we assume that Louis van Gaal will freshen things up and rotate his squad.
Expect starts for Adnan Januzaj, Ander Herrera, James Wilson and Rafael da Silva, all of whom have been peripheral members of the squad so far this season. And at least one of Falcao and RvP will make way after many Christmas minutes. We think that RvP will be left on the bench for this one as Wilson stretches his legs. Luke Shaw was brought off after an hour against Stoke but the optimistic will presume that is due to nothing more than fatigue after a long spell out.
Hopefully he will get more gametime at the weekend.
While the team sheet may change Manchester United will be warned against complacency to avoid a repeat of the humiliating result against MK Dons in The Capital One Cup in the early throes of Louis van Gaal’s United career.
So here is our team and we expect a much better performance than the rather lifeless one given at Stoke on New Year’s Day.
