Arsenal have travelled to watch another defender in action with a view to possible January signing – report

Special talent

We believe that if the Arsenal players were hypnotised into believing that every game was a dead rubber then they would have a longer recent medal haul than Barcelona themselves.

Because with nothing to play for – save the tiny possibility of finishing top – Arsenal absolutely obliterated Galatasaray at a stadium that is notoriously difficult to play in, due to the partisan and intimidating crowd.

And they did it with a team made up of returning stars, youngsters and peripheral squad members.

Arsenal, you may argue, have the talent but not the resolve to be serial winners.

Whatever you made of Arsenal’s Tuesday night showing, there will be fierce rumours about winter investment over the next couple of months. An experienced defender and a midfielder should be the order of the day. But reports suggest that Arsenal may be tracking another youngster. The Express reports:

ARSENAL have scouted out Legia Warsaw’s Krystian Bielik as a potential future centre-half as the Gunners look to boost their defensive recruits this winter.

The 16 year old is contracted to Legia until 2017. But such is the state of the modern game that a talent this big is unlikely to see out his contract in Poland.

With Everton supposedly also interested the source says that Arsenal may make a move in January.

Let’s take a look at the youngster in action. Arsenal fans: keen?

Wenger is not helping the situation in arsenal, arsenal is vital with competent and efficient players youngstars at that. He only kills them by leaving them on the bench. I would classify wenger as low class coach and a gready and selfish individual. He has a motive. Which drives his continous act. Year to year we are being beaten by our rivals, why? Is it not a shame? Podoski, cambell is being frustrating. Let them go he reject. We fans aren’t happy at all. Wenger should leave arsenal. Don’t the board have a say? They must be crazy. Its a shame we haven’t gotten any title apart from the recent one we acquired. I conclude this by saying a new coach should come in line. Podoski and campbel should stay. Wenger should go. Thanks
