Real Madrid look more in control, as a club, than we have seen for a long time. Not only is the first team playing its best football in years. But the whole infrastucture of the club looks strong.
Because, as well as bringing in some of the best current stars of the game this summer, Real Madrid clearly have one eye on the future.
And reports over the weekend suggest that Real Madrid are on the verge of signing another player with huge potential.
Real Madrid will complete the signing of young Real Mallorca winger Marco Asensio ‘within a matter of hours.’
The boss himself added weight to this theory by saying on Madrid’s Twitter feed:

The report suggests that a bid of around 4m Euro should be agreed imminently. The 18 year old Mallorca winger is diminutive in frame. But he doesn’t let that hinder him. In fact his low centre of gravity perhaps helps him to dribble past opponents. Even if he doesn’t prove to be a prolific goal scorer (he has 3 in 28 for Mallorca), he looks born to entertain.
He’s played at various youth levels for Spain and really does seem like a footballer who could terrorise defences for Real Madrid in the coming years.
