Real Madrid

Real Madrid could miss out on superb signing. Not Asensio – report

Real vs Atletico

Watch Out

Real Madrid look as if they could win everything this season based on their recent form. And in a move which could be even more frightening for the competition, they seem to be attempting to scoop up young talent for the future as well.

We spoke this week about the possibility of talented creator Marco Asensio going the club. And Real Madrid have also reportedly been tracking a player who is rated even more highly than Asensio.

But latest reports in the British media suggest that they may have a battle on their hands for this particular gem as other big clubs, such as Manchester United and Arsenal circle. UK tabloid The Daily Star states:

The Spanish giants had been tipped to land the Brazilian as they look to replace Sami Khedira who looks set to leave the club with only six months on his contract.

However Arsenal aim to fight for Silva and think a deal could be done in January.

The 21 year old Cruzeiro midfielder is the latest in a long line of Brazilian talent who will surely be making an imminent move to one of Europe’s super clubs. The question is which one?

Real Madrid would always be a very tempting place to play but, with Luka Modric and Toni Kroos set to dominate the Madrid midfield for a while yet, Silva may look elsewhere.

Certainly Arsenal and Manchester United could use a player with these qualities – he’s a shrewd midfield operator with discipline and great technique who sits in front of the defence to great effect.

While Manchester United’s interest, may have passed, Arsenal could seriously challenge Real Madrid for his signature.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Real Madrid fans: worth spending big on?
