New Manchester United genius likened to Cristiano Ronaldo – report

Falcao hasn't done enough this season

Can’t Wait

Until this season there had been a definite drain on the resources of The Premier League as some of the best from England joined La Liga.

But this season has seen the trend bucked as players like Fabregas, Costa and Di Maria have come the other way.

As football fans we have been counting the hours until we get to see the best import of the lot playing regularly for Manchester Untied – that is of course the potentially peerless Radamel Falcao.

Niggling injuries – typical after a long term absence from the game – have suspended the brilliant Colombian’s season and career at Manchester United. But he’s back and looks desperate for action again. And, you can only become more excited when you hear reports like this from The BBC:

So diligent has been his approach to training, one senior figure at United this week compared the 28-year-old to Cristiano Ronaldo, whose dedication to his craft was well known within the club.

We have been waxing lyrical about this guy even though he has hardly played. Because, make no mistake, if he can get fully fit this could be one of the best players ever to wear the shirt. It may sound like sensationalism but Falcao is truly a force of nature. He was born to play the game and he is the definitive great goalscorer and scorer of great goals.

We have had several false dawns so far. But we’d just love to see Falcao get 90 minutes (or at least start) against Stoke.

Manchester United fans: is this the new star player in waiting?
