Chelsea are famously guarded about the signings they make and Jose seems to love nothing ore than to announce a signing before the press has got wind of it.

But it seems that the lid has been lifted on one potential Chelsea move by a rival bidder. Atalanta sporting director Pierpaolo Marino says that Croatian hotshot Andrej Kramaric is on his way the Stamford Bridge.

Croatian striker Andrej Kramaric joining Blues, says Atalanta chief

“I believe that he is signing for Chelsea. He is a player we have followed for a long time.”

The Croatian 23 year old joined Dynamo Zagreb in 2009 where he scored 10 in 42 league games – a decent record but hew was loaned and eventually sold permanently in 2013 to Croation side Rijeka. There he has scored a scarcely believable 37 goals in 38 legate games – to say that this guy is on fire would be to put it mildly.

He’s taken his good scoring form with him to international level where he has bagged 2 goals in 4 games since his debut for Croatia earlier this year.

He’s a gamble but doesn’t have the sort of household name that would currently command a fortune in fees. And everyone loves to pick a winner out of relative obscurity. Chelsea will be no different.

Let’s take a look at the lad in action. Chelsea fans: are striking reinforcements still required?
