As Real Madrid prepare for the game against Liverpool on Tuesday evening it’s hard to remember them in better form.
While the vintage of Zidane, Figo et al possibly had some better individuals in it, this side is so much more of a team. They are all reading off the same script. And any early season doubts about the side have been completely erased by the performances over the last 6 weeks.
So it’s not easy to imagine how they could realistically improve their side. Another goal keeper will surely come in in the summer. But reports in England claim that Real Madrid are planning a mega deal for one of The Premier League’s best:
REAL MADRID are to step up their interest in Chelsea star Eden Hazard as they prepare for life without Gareth Bale.
Bale has been the subject of much speculation with many believing that Real Madrid have performed better in his recent absence through injury.
If Bale is all about power and pace, Hazard is perhaps more of a technician. He has lightning fast feet to go with his pace and he can beat a man from a standing start – he really is a wonderful player.
We think that there is some substance to the Bale rumour. Publicly Carlo Ancelotti has backed the Welshman but Isco has a real case to be included in the starting eleven right now and Bale won’t be happy to sit on the bench for long.
