Pass Master

While most of Manchester United’s transfer business is surely done for the season there may well be one or two additions in January – particularly if United’s form and results continue to yo-yo.

One player who Manchester United are said to be keeping a close eye on is young playmaker Daley Sinkgraven. The 19 year old is reportedly drawing interest from some Europe’s top clubs and Louis hopes to steal a march on the rivals for the signature of the impressive teenager. The Mirror reports:

Manchester United are ready to step up their interest in Dutch wonderkid Daley Sinkgraven.

Louis van Gaal is worried that the Old Trafford giants may lose out on the 19-year-old attacking midfielder to Real Madrid, Barcelona or Liverpool after some eye-catching performances for Heerenveen this season.

He has ordered his scouting team to bring him more detailed reports about Sinkgraven’s progress with a view to agreeing a deal with his Dutch club in January.

Any move would likely have to wait until the end of next season as the youngster hones his skills in the Dutch league. But that won’t halt a deal getting done for his services before a loan move back to Holland.

Manchester United can still improve their midfield and although this kid may not expect to step straight into the first team it’s nice to see Louis planning for the future even though he will likely only stay at the club for three years.

Let’s see Sinkgraven in action. United fans: keen?
