English Premier League: Manchester United vs Everton at Old Traffords. Kick off 12:00pm (local time)
Manchester United: De Gea, Rafael, McNair, Rojo, Shaw – Blind, Valencia, Di Maria – Mata – Falcao, van Persie
Everton: Howard, Hibbert, Jagielka, Stones, Baines – Barry, Besic, Pienaar, McGeady – Naismith, Lukaku.
Most onlookers see Chelsea vs Arsenal as the big game of the day. But while Arsenal will possibly look to stifle their opposition and go for a draw this game could be much more open and entertaining.
Certainly Everton boss Roberto Martinez will be going for the kill against a Manchester United side that is as exciting as ever going forward but still vulnerable at the back.
In midfield too this Manchester United side isn’t yet dominant and Everton will want to get out of the traps early and put pressure on The Reds.
We think that it will be a fascinating tie. After a poor start in terms of results Everton will be desperate for something. As for Manchester United, at this stage of the season, any kind of win will do. And, indeed, if they do win they will be 4th for a few hours at least.
