Super talent

Oh come on Manchester United. Sort your lives out!

After a preseason which got which got everybody excited about the new season Manchester United slumped to a really poor home defeat in their first competitive game under new manager Louis van Gaal.

Beating the likes of Liverpool, Real Madrid and Roma in July probably gave Manchester United fans a slightly unrealistic and elevated opinion about where their team currently sat.

But an almost routine win for Swansea at Old Trafford brought Manchester United back down to ground with a thud. Of course Manchester United had five starters injured but they clearly need to spend some money if they are going to get anywhere near the top four.

Vice-chairman Ed Woodward can’t be getting much sleep at the moment and surely by adding a few more million to his bids here and there he could sign some really important players.

One such top quality player is Juan Cuadrado. The man who was given an average score of 8.31 by The Castrol index, which worked with FIFA to rank players at Brazil 2014, he could absolutely rinse defenders on that right side and we think that he would be a brilliant signing for the club. The Metro says Manchester United will go back in for him with a big bid.

Manchester United push to complete £32million (40M Euros) Juan Cuadrado transfer by weekend

Barcelona clearly fancy the player but, realistically, they might have to sell before they can buy. On the other hand, Manchester United are in a cash rich position but are desperately short of pace on the wings. Cuadrado is a wonderful speed demon who can play in several roles.

Sort it out United. Sign him up. Because time is running out.

Let’s see the lad in action.
