While many of their Premier League rivals have done most of their business for the summer Manchester United would appear to still have a huge amount of money to spend.
With only three senior centre backs at the club they will surely add another one of those. Belgian centre back Thomas Vermaelen seems as if he may well sign for Barcelona and there has been no movement on the Mats Hummels rumour of late. But Manchester United will buy at least one more centre back.
A right-sided uber-athletic speed demon would also be ideal for Louis van Gaal’s 3-5-2 formation and the club may try to push through a deal for the exceptional Juan Cuadrado in the next few days.
And, as things stand, that midfield really does lack mobility and dynamism. Darren Fletcher did a great job in front of the defence in America. But, with Michael Carrick out and Tom Cleverley still looking well off the pace, Manchester United will surely need to add a top player like Arturo Vidal.
The club looks fairly well set up top with Rooney and Robin van Persie more than capable of carrying the team to success. Danny Welbeck was excellent in pre-season and will push them hard for a starting spot.
We think that United should hold on to Javier Hernandez. But if the Mexican does move on then another forward may be bought in also. Angel di Maria has been linked to the club throughout the summer.
So, providing Manchester United secure what are seen as their top targets and RvP gains full fitness in time, here is how the team would ideally look for the first match against Swansea – mouthwatering.
Let’s have your thoughts.
Manchester United (3-5-2): De Gea, Hummels, Smalling, Jones – Shaw, Herrera, Vidal, Mata, Cuadrado – Rooney, RvP

what brought about the 3 names mentioned above, Vidal, Hummel and Juan! Man-U, you are very poor in terms of transfer saga!! You have to wake up!!! If those you people will join Man-U, they will be very entertain and that could lead to strong force in the title challenge.
