Amazing striker

Chelsea have been put on alert for a possible transfer of Gonzalo Higuain. Comments by the player have suggested a transfer away from Napoli might be possible and The Express reports that the London club might be interested in landing the player, along with Arsenal and Manchester United.

Chelsea might also face competition from La Liga giants Barcelona. The Guardian reports that the Catalan club is also interested in the player and quotes the striker as saying:

“Of course. I enjoy playing alongside him for the national team. Obviously it would be an enormous pleasure, but for now I’m focused on the World Cup. I’m flattered by the interest from Barça. Any player would be.”

The most disappointing aspect of Chelsea’s previous season was their lack of attacking prowess. Samuel Eto’o, Fernando Torres and Demba Ba all failed to impress. Their lack of world class striker was widely seen as one of the main reasons for their failure to win any major trophies.

Mourinho has already revealed that he is looking to overhaul is attacking options and is confident of bringing in La Liga winner and Champions League runner up Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid.

Higuain, who has already worked with the manager during his time at Real Madrid who joined Napoli for 40m Euros last summer, would certainly add depth and talent to Chelsea’s front line.

Arsenal meanwhile also appear to be in the hunt for a forward after they spent last season with just Olivier Giroud as their only established striker. Manchester United are likely to see changes throughout their squad with the arrival of new manager Louis van Gaal.

Higuain joined Real Madrid from Argentinian side River Plate in 2007 and went on to score 107 league goals in just 190 appearances. The 26 year old then joined Napoli in 2013 and has found the net 24 times in all competitions.

He is currently in Brazil for the World Cup as part of the 23 man squad for Argentina. He came on as a substitute in the second half to gain his 37th cap for his country.

They’d be wrong as he never commented he could leave, and his agent has ruled out a move. Plus reports in Italy claim De Laurentiis is furious over reports and wouldn’t sell him for any price, especially a pitiful 40m.

Morinho MUST first discipline his mouth, he must respect football men, shall stand for quality of football accompanied with trophy, not blocking Busses, then it will be his power to crat football.
