It’s been a strange old season for Chelsea. We think that they have illustrated the fine line between success and failure despite an encouraging level of performance for most of the campaign.

There is no doubt that Chelsea need to balance defence and attack slightly better. The Blues are solid as a rock at the back but need to be a little bit more adventurous and quick going forward. Whilst Willian has immediateley grasped the nettle, other creative players like Oscar, Hazard and Schurrle have blown hot and cold in the latter months of the season. Salah is also yet to make a mark.
We believe that the one stop shop solution for more mobility and dynamism in the team is the sensational England man Ross Barkley.
Rumours about a transfer have simmered for over a year and they will surely intensify over the summer – particularly if he has a decent World Cup.
