He’s a 24 year old attacking midfielder who has turned out three times for the Algerian national side.
He’s only played 30 odd games for his current club side Granada in Spain, since he joined last year, but such has been his rise in stock that is drawing admiring glances from all over Europe.
The Daily Star suggested earlier this week that Tottenham were preparing to make a £12 million bid for the player.
Tottenham don’t exactly lack talent in the wide areas but this guy looks as if he could play anywhere across the midfield and really add some creativity in the final third.
That said £12 million squid does seem like a lot of money for a player in his mid 20s who has only managed three caps for a country which isn’t seen as particularly prominent in world football.
But his form seems to have improved dramatically over the last 12 months and it does look as if he could be a mercurial talent in England.
Let’s have a look at the lad in action. Tottenham fans – do you think this guy would be worth a punt?

Looks good. Would rather keep Paulinho!
