Tottenham has been strangely quiet where it comes to transfer speculation over the winter window. One of the criticisms of the AVB regime was that he bought in too many players in the summer which had a negative effect on the continuity of the squad.
But we don’t think that there would be too many complaints from the fans if Tottenham went out and invested in some more quality in January. The side has been struggling for goals in The Premier league and some more creative attacking spark is arguably required.
Reports this afternoon suggest that Timothy Sherwood may dip into the transfer market in the next couple of weeks. Apparently the brilliant youngster Isaac Cuenca has been offered to Tottenham.
Tottenham are considering signing Isaac Cuenca on-loan from Barcelona for the rest of the season.
Tim Sherwood is on the lookout for new signings to bolster his squad, and was offered the chance to sign Cuenca this week by a third party agent.
When this 22 year old burst onto the scene at Barcelona we thought that we were about to witness something really special. Cuenca had a great start to his career but has been dealt a bad hand with injuries and has stagnated somewhat over the last year or so. He had a recent spell at Ajax which was also blighted by injury problems – mainly with his knee.
If he can have a free run through injury and get some consistent games under his belt we think that Tottenham could benefit greatly from his services.
Let’s see the lad in action. Tottenham fans – interested?

Dos santos? Not happening. We literally sold him previously, and not going to take him back, nor does he want to come back.
