Chelsea quickly put to bed that terrible result against Newcastle last weekend to record a convincing victory against Schalke in The Champions League in midweek.
Chelsea under Mourinho don’t look like a team that is going to lose many games. It’s almost a surprise that they lose any.
And one thing that this manager generally irons out of teams is complacency. West Brom are not a team that Chelsea will want to take lightly. Having beaten Manchester United on their own patch a few weeks ago they are one of the more dangerous dark courses in The Premier league.
They have an excellent side which is physical but also has good technique and knows how to hold onto the ball. They certainly won’t roll over at Chelsea on Saturday.
After his midweek passport blunder Eden Hazard should be back in the squad. Fernando Torres is still out but, apart from that, Chelsea are looking in pretty good shape.
This is a fixture that Chelsea will feel they have to win if they’re going to be successful in their title campaign. Therefore, you would imagine that joint leading goalscorer and naughty boy Eden Hazard will play. And, despite his excellent performances of late, Willian may be the victim of Hazard’s inclusion.
So here’s what we think will be the Chelsea team to face West Brom at Stamford Bridge on Saturday
Feel free to complain bitterly and let us know your thoughts on this one.
