4-2-3-1: The Pacy Chelsea XI to take the points at West Ham

This is a very tricky fixture for Chelsea who will be slightly flat after their massive round trip and draining game in Moscow on Tuesday night.

A win would have added bounce but, though Chelsea were the better side and hit the woodwork twice, they only have an extra point to show for their travails.

But they are in a good position in Europe and must try to continue their ascent up The Premier League table with a tough trip to West Ham (kick off Saturday 15:00 local time).

The Hammers are in superb form and find themselves in 4th place going into the weekend. In fact their away form has been better than their home form.

But this is a proper football team which made further excellent signings in the summer.

Not least Dimitri Payet who has been on fire and, on this form, would surely stroll into most Premier League XIs. His dinked finish last time out against Crystal Palace summed up his influence on this team. He scores goals and adds spectacle.

We believe that Chelsea will need to freshen up a little for this one.

The back 5 looked solid in midweek so we will stick with them.

In midfield we are sticking with Matic and Ramires who always provide a solid shield for the defence away from home.

But up top we are going to tinker.

Pedro should be fit for this one after minor injury and he comes in.

Oscar replaced Fabregas on 75 and we believe that Cesc should be rested for this one with the Brazilian starting.

But Hazard and Costa are always hard to leave out, even though it’s been a really difficult week.
