Spurs will allow Kevin Wimmer to leave the club this summer, but they are yet to receive any formal offers.
Perhaps that’s unsurprising considering that the Sun claim Daniel Levy is valuing him at around £20million.
The 24-year-old made just four starts in the Premier League this season, with Mauricio Pochettino preferring a back three of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen, and Eric Dier.
With Cameron Carter-Vickers also coming through the ranks, the chances of Wimmer ever playing regularly look fairly slim. In the 2015/2016 campaign, he did an excellent job coming into the side when Vertonghen was sidelined with a knee injury, but he has struggled to impress Pochettino long term.
The former Cologne defender cost the Lilywhites just £4.3million, so the question has to be asked why they are now asking for almost 5x that fee to sell him on.
The Austria international will be sold to make room for new reinforcements, though Spurs have already missed out on Harry Maguire, who left Hull to join Leicester in a surprise £17million move.
