Manchester United are yet to come to an agreement with Inter Milan over the transfer of Ivan Perisic, but the player is almost certain he will move to Old Trafford in the coming months.
That’s according to the Manchester Evening News, who state that sources close to the player do not believe that there will be an issue when it comes to negotiating a fee.
Perisic is thought to be a big admirer of Jose Mourinho, while he is also keen to play in the Champions League. Inter missed out on European football altogether after finishing seventh in Serie A, whereas United qualified by virtue of their triumph in the Europa League.
The Croatian has another two months to complete the move, but it could well be sealed before the end of the month.
Inter are trying to raise £26million to comply with Financial Fair Play rules, per the same source, so that is a big incentive for them to sell one of their prize assets as quickly as possible.
