Ander Herrera was awarded man of the match for his impressive effort in the Europa League final.
Manchester United sealed a 2-0 victory over Ajax thanks to goals from Paul Pogba and Henrikh Mkhitaryan, but Herrera once again won many of the plaudits.
The 27-year-old has also been named club Player of the Season, a feat which has seen him linked with Barcelona by Spanish publication Sport.
The Catalan outlet suggested that Ernesto Valverde, who left Athletic Bilbao earlier this week and is expected to take the Barcelona job, will target the midfielder as his first signing.
However, according to the Independent, any such offer will fall on deaf ears. United have no intention whatsoever of allowing Herrera to leave and have told the newspaper they have not spoken to Barca.
Valverde and Herrera worked together at Bilbao, but the latter has since built up a strong relationship with Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils are likely to sit down and discuss a new contract with the Spain international to deter any potential suitors.
