Mauricio Pochettino makes a hilarious promise if Spurs win the league

Another year, another bizarre promise from Mauricio Pochettino.

Spurs fans have grown used to false hope over the years, but they’re relying on their manager to come good on his latest gem.

Last season, they were told Pochettino would perform a duet on the pitch with chairman Daniel Levy if they won a trophy.

Amid their current form, the Argentine has now taken it up a notch by revealing plans for a tango – he’ll probably find a few more clubs rooting for Spurs now.

Here he is, speaking before his side’s FA Cup 3rd round tie against Aston Villa on Sunday:

Of course, this still all seems very unlikely, as despite Spurs’ 2-0 win on Wednesday, Chelsea are still massive favourites for the title.

Antonio Conte’s Blues are seven points clear of the third-placed Lilywhites, though that’s far from insurmountable.

Tottenham’s next Premier League game sees them face West Brom next weekend, and if Liverpool fail to beat in-form Manchester United at Old Trafford, the two results combined will put the north Londoners second.
