That’s more likely to be with Manchester City than United, purely because of Pep Guardiola. Nonetheless, if the Red Devils made an offer, it’s not completely out of the question.
The 28-year-old isn’t necessarily set to leave the Nou Camp soon, as his current contract expires in 2019. As we’ve seen countless times, a deal like that doesn’t necessarily mean too much, but equally, he’s hardly going to accept a move to Old Trafford unless United are in the Champions League – so their current crop of players have some work to do.
