Manchester United’s transfer window may be all about Paul Pogba, but their big spending isn’t going to finish there.
Since Jose Mourinho’s arrival, the Red Devils have spent £30million on Eric Bailly, £27million on Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and they are set to fork out a world record fee of £100million for Pogba.
However, the Daily Mail report that one potential signing which is going on under the radar is that of Monaco’s Fabinho.
The right-back would cost United around £25million and the Ligue 1 side have promised he will be allowed to leave this summer.
Mourinho is not necessarily behind the deal, as the club have been speaking to Monaco about the Brazilian since last year, but he has certainly proved that he can help attract stars.
The Special One’s agent, Jorge Mendes, also represents Fabinho, and that could help United to beat Manchester City and Napoli to his signature.
Fabinho’s arrival would spell more trouble for Matteo Darmian, who is already being linked with a move away from Old Trafford after some disappointing performances at right-back last season.
