With Alvaro Morata expected to leave Juventus this summer, the Old Lady have already set about finding a replacement.
TalkSport believe that Southampton’s Graziano Pelle could return to his native Italy after an impressive season with the Saints.
Now that his club manager Ronald Koeman is moving on to Everton, several of his players are also set to depart, with Pelle expected to lead the exodus.
The forward is currently making a name for himself by leading Italy’s attack at the Euros, but it’s believed he’s been on Juve’s radar for quite a while.
He is likely to leave Southampton, not only because of his fine form, but also because, according to the same source, he fell out with the St Mary’s coaching staff at the end of the season.
While Pelle’s situation looks fairly untenable, Southampton bosses must fear that the Juve rumours are part of a wider trend emerging this summer. Victor Wanyama and Shane Long, their other two key players, are also being linked with moves, and their squad could quickly be left in tatters if they don’t bring in some replacements soon.
