Manchester City have reportedly entered the race to sign Real Madrid midfielder Toni Kroos.
The German schemer was being monitored by Manchester United but incoming boss at the Ettihad Satdium has told his top hierarchy to sign up the player.
Real have told Kroos he can leave the club at the nod of the season and Guardiola will now try to steal him from the clutches of rivals, Man United.
Reports say Borussia Dortmund is the top priority of Guardiola if he arrives at Man City but he wants to add Kroos to his squad next season.
The deep lying player could cost up to £25 million should he leave Santiago Bernabeu this summer which has alerted several top clubs in Europe including the two Manchester Giants.
