Aguero targets 100th goal

Manchester City forward Sergio Kun Aguero has admitted hi interest in hitting the 100 goal goal mark for his side in their clash against Newcastle in midweek.

The Argentinian striker scored his 97th, 98th and 99th against Chelsea last Saturday in a game where he showed individual brilliance to keep City ahead in the race to make the top four at the end of the season.

After the game, Aguero admitted he harbored hopes of hitting the milestone against the Magpies.

“We still have a few games ahead of us and I am sure I can make 100 goals,” Aguero told reporters at Stamford Bridge. “I will try to do it on Tuesday when we have an important game

“I’m happy with the three goals, but most importantly with the victory. Those three points were very important.

“Since I came to City we have never won at Chelsea, so I am very happy. It’s a difficult stadium to get the win, so to get three points is good.”
