Chelsea captain has been ruled out of action for a further three weeks following the Achilles injury he picked up a last weekend.
Terry has played his part in the turnaround under interim manager Guus Hiddink as Chelsea try to save their season.
However, prior to the Premier League game against Aston Villa, he picked up an injury that eventually gave chance to January import, Matthew Miazga alongside Gary Cahill.
Further scans have revealed he will be sidelined until May.
A report by the Mirror said, “[Terry] has suffered a blow, as it is understood that he is out for up to three weeks after pushing himself hard in training this week to recover from an Achilles injury,”
Chelsea face Swansea on Saturday in another attempt to climb up the table before season’s end.
