Reports suggest Jose Mourinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes has arranged a meeting with Ed Woodward following rumors that Louis Van Gaal will continue as manager of Manchester United.
The Portuguese tactician had agreed a deal with the top hierarchy of the Red Devils to take over as head coach of the club, but recent reports that Van Gaal will see out his contract at the club has raised concerns in Mourinho’s camp.
The Dutch manager is said to have won the hearts of Man United’s top officials after his introduction of youth players to the first team plus a good run of form in the Premier League as well.
That has led to Manchester Evening News suggesting that Mendes will have a meeting with Woodward later this week to find answers about the future of his client.
Mourinho is on the look out for a job following his sacking at Chelsea last December.
