COULD Zlatan Ibrahimovic be the answer to Arsenal’s long-standing striking problem?
The Paris St Germain forward, who has been in superb form this season despite turning 34 earlier in the campaign, has indicated he would like to move to the Premier League when his contract with the French champions expires at the end of the season.
The Daily Mirror reports:
“Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been offered to Arsenal as the Swedish superstar eyes a move to the Premier League this summer.
“Paris St Germain striker Ibrahimovic, one of the biggest names in world football, is believed to prefer a move to London and agents believe the Gunners could be interested.
“Chelsea and Manchester United are also likely to be interested when he becomes a free agent at the end of the season and it is believed Jose Mourinho would be very keen to sign the Swede if he ends up taking over at Old Trafford in the summer.
“The pair have a particularly close bond after working together at Inter Milan.”
We think that if the rumours have any foundation, Arsenal should jump at the opportunity.
It may not be a long-term solution but Ibrahimovic – who once rejected a trial with the Gunners as a youngster – still has at least a season or two left in him at the top level.
His signing would allow Arsenal time to develop a young striker and what a tremendous role model the Swede would be to learn from.
It would be a major departure from manager Arsene Wenger’s normal policy of not bringing in players over the age of 30 but, while Ibrahimovic’s wages would be around £250,000 a week, there would be no transfer fee and it could prove money very well spent.

Will i say Arsenal has no money to by player. Or is it Arsen Wenger that is stingy to spent this money? Please let somebody answer me.
