While Real Madrid had to deal with the bombshell of the transfer ban last week we still don’t know for sure if it will stand, with rumours flying around about the possible outcome of an appeal.
But, with less than two weeks to go in the transfer window, Los Blancos will surely be seriously looking at the market for players who can strengthen the squad sooner rather than later.
One player who has been linked to Real Madrid is Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez. But he says that he is keeping calm despite the speculation:
“While nothing is official, I’m keeping my focus on VfL,”
The 23 year old wide man, who’s also reportedly been interesting Manchester United, has been superb for the German outfit over the last couple of seasons in particular. He’s played 112 games and scored 17 goals since he moved to Wolfsburg from Zurich in 2012.
And his overall influence in the team is growing all the time. He’s an adventurous left-back who hits a beautifully consistent cross and can become one of the elite, marauding defenders in world football over the next couple of years.
