Newcastle in £10million swoop for Alan Dzagoev as Steve McClaren looks to bolster squad
The 25 year old has a wealth of experience for his age and has been at CSKA for nigh on a decade.
The adaptable attacking midfielder has chipped in with a decent amount of goals each season and has 9 in 48 caps for Russia.
But his real quality lies in his creativity and it’s that which Newcastle need most right now. The Toon have seen something of an upturn in their form and results of late but they will want to keep this going through January by reinforcing the squad in key areas.
At 25 Dzagoev looks as if he may be ripe for a move to a big European team and Newcastle may be at the head of the queue for his signature.
Let’s take a look at the nimble and quick thinking Dzagoev in action.
Newcastle fans: would this be a canny addition to the side or should you be looking at other areas of the team as a priority?
