Forget Pep: Manchester United need results and the timing is perfect for Jose Mourinho

Jose-Mourinho

A Must

Yes it would be nice if Pep Gurdiola took over the running of Manchester United. He is an aesthete who loves the beautiful game and wants his teams to thrill as well as winning.

But does the club really want to risk losing out on Jose and Pep by waiting until the summer to make an appointment?

We think that Manchester United would be mad to miss out on Jose again.

Beautiful football will come to Old Trafford again but its results that are way more important at this point.

Because, without a trophy in almost 3 years, Manchester United are in danger of slipping into a long term abyss like Liverpool before them.

They need silverware and Jose is the closest thing in football management to a guarantee of that.

Daniel Taylor writes in The Guardian that:

United are acutely aware of Mourinho’s strengths but also mindful about the amount of conflict he tends to generate, as well as his reluctance to promote younger players.

But let’s not pretend Jose is so unintelligent that he is not aware of these accusations.

He will be taking a look at himself now and attempting to come back into management more mature, less contentious in public and more reticent.

It’s not just Louis that is on the brink. Manchester United too are in danger of losing their status as an elite European club.

And we would back Mourinho every time over Pep to return them to greatness.

Manchester United fans: Jose or Pep?

Comment:GOING FOR PEP IS ALSO GOOD BUT FOR JOSE IT WILL BE BETTER BECAUSE FOR HIM TRYING TO REVENGE TO CHEALSE IT WILL HELP UTD.IT MAY EVEN TAKE UTD TO A BETTER POSITION THAN WHERE THEY ARE. TO MY VIEW
