Manchester United are prepared to pay Robert Lewandowski a huge salary of around 15m Euros a year to join them from Bayern Munchen, according to popular German media outlet Bild.

They suggest that Real Madrid and PSG are also keen on the forward but that Manchester United will make a massive bid in order to secure their man.

Lewandowski has to be regarded as the best striker in Europe right now.

He’s scored 23 goals in just 25 appearances for the German champions this season, including 5 goals in one half earlier in the campaign.

While there has been much talk about Manchester United needing wingers, we feel that a top striker could make the whole team tick.

With Martial and Memphis either side of Lewandowski and an on song Rooney in the hole, Manchester United would surely find their goalscoring touch.

And a deal is not as distant a prospect as it may seem for Manchester United. Although they will clearly have competition for his signature, Lewandowski’s agent said earlier this year:

“I think it would have to be a very high offer, definitely higher than £35m for Bayern to consider selling.

“With a player of Robert’s class, the truth is that not a lot of work is required because really there are only two directions in which he could go in the future, England or Spain, and only with Bayern Munich’s acceptance.”

“There is no reason, apart from money to be honest, to even think about it.”

Let’s see the belter in action.
