Chelsea may be about to sack their manager Jose Mourinho, after a run of terrible results, but the managerial chaos doesn’t seem to have weakened the club’s resolve to bring in their top transfer targets, according to reports.

CHELSEA will relaunch their £40million bid to sign Everton defender John Stones as soon as the transfer window opens in January as manager Jose Mourinho bids to kick-start his side’s Premier League title defence.
Having been sorely temped by a move to Chelsea in the summer it seems only a matter of time before his club is fielding more enquires for the signature of Stones.
The 6ft 2in, 21 year old has been putting in flawless performances on a weekly basis and already has 7 caps for England after his debut last year. Barring injury he will be one of the first names on that team sheet for the next decade.
The Toffees are in a good financial position and they won’t feel obliged to sell one of their best players. Indeed boss Roberto Martinez has again insisted that the player will not be sold in January:
“We’ll never lose anyone in January, unless it’s somebody who hasn’t been playing and we need to find a solution.
“If he’s a top performer, it’s not even a consideration.”
