Chelsea vs Norwich, The Barclays Premier League, Saturday 21 November 2015, Kick Off 15:00 Local Time
CHELSEA: Begovic; Ivanovic, Zouma, Terry, Kenedy; Matic, Fabregas; Pedro, Willian, Hazard; Diego Costa
NORWICH: Ruddy; Wisdom, Bennett, Bassong, Olsson; Howson, Mulumbu, O’Neil, Brady; Redmond; Mbokani
In years gone by, and particularly under the management of Jose Mourinho, this would be a nailed on 2-0 for Chelsea.
But such has been the standard of performances at Stamford Bridge so far this season that nothing can be taken for granted.
And we like the way that Norwich play with a cavalier and expansive attitude to the game at times. After all, what is the point of going to Chelsea with any sort of trepidation?
The most important thing is that Norwich are relaxed enough to express themselves. Any sort of result will be seen as a bonus in their quest for Premier League consolidation.
We think that Chelsea could edge this one but it may not be too pretty to watch and Chelsea for a side low on confidence right now.
But we sense that this weekend could be seen, in retrospect, as the beginning of the revival.
It should make for fascinating viewing.
